Located on approximately 500 acre tract of beautiful Texas Hill Country, the campground has 75 acres of camping with ½ mile of Guadalupe River frontage. Lots of trees shade the grounds. Open fields invite you to come out and play. The back acreage has roads you can walk on and a creek bed to explore.

75 acres of camping:
  • ½ mile of Guadalupe River frontage
  • Beautiful 500 acre hill country tract
  • Rainbow Trout Fishing
  • 2 shower and restroom facilities
  • Group Areas
  • Shady Environment
  • Picnic Tables
  • Bar B Que Pits
  • Dump Station
  • 3 night minimum on Holidays
Our campground has over 75 acres of open camping. We don't take reservations for camping. Camping areas are not numbered or assigned. When you arrive, you choose the area where you wish to set up your camp. Picnic tables and Bar B Que pits are scattered throughout the grounds. Water facets are located behind the front office building and below the back bathhouse and are not at every camping area. It's a good idea to bring drinking water or containers. Weekdays are the quietest times. Weekends are busier. The early birds usually head for the riverfront, then on to other favorite spots. The earlier you arrive for the weekend the more choice of camping spots you will have.

The holidays of Memorial Weekend and the 4th of July are the most crowded. These two weekends tend to be louder than other weekends. Campers arriving late on Friday of a holiday weekend, should still be able to find room to pitch a tent, although away from the river area.

The electrical section usually gets full sometime on Friday or early Saturday for the weekends from Memorial Weekend (sometimes by Thursday on Memorial) until school starts in August. Traffic patterns can vary greatly, so please call find expected availability for electrical hook-ups during the time you wish to come. Sunday through Thursday, electrical hook-ups are generally available.
