Natural Bridge Caverns, TX 78266

Hours: Daily 9am - 4pm
Memorial Day - Labor Day
9am-7pm

Adventure Tour:
This tour offers a physically demanding and thrilling excursion into one of the world's premier caverns. Away from commercial lights and trails, you'll experience what it's like to explore the unknown - just like the discoverers of Natural Bridge Caverns. Be prepared to climb, crawl, and rappel through undeveloped rooms and passages.

On the Adventure Tour you will be outfitted with caving gear and have the option to be lowered into the entry room by rope through a 160-foot well shaft or use the walk-in tunnel. You'll travel approximately 1 mile, going down to 230 feet below surface to the Fault Room, which has one of the longest soda straw formations in North America - 14' in length.

The physical difficulty is moderate to hard, so guests should be physically fit (height/weight limitations may apply). Advanced reservations are required for this tour and a cancellation fee may apply.

North Cavern Tour:
Take the North Cavern Tour and see what millions of others have seen - an incredible world of natural beauty. This 75-minute tour travels through a half-mile of the largest and most spectacular show cavern in Texas.

The main rooms you'll pass through on this tour include The Bear Pit, Pluto's Anteroom, Sherwood Forest, Purgatory Creek, Castle of the White Giants, and the Hall of the Mountain King. Along the way you'll be surrounded by ancient formations (most still growing) like stalagmites, stalactites, flowstones, chandeliers, and soda straws.

Natural Bridge Mining Company: Texas Largest Sluice
This is Texas' Largest Sluice - and it's a fun and educational experience for the whole family!

A sluice is a series of troughs leading from a water-filled wooden tower. As the water runs through the troughs, bags of mining "rough" are emptied and sifted through screen trays - revealing precious gems, colorful minerals or ancient fossils. It's like panning for gold - and you get to pocket whatever you find!

Jeremy Room Flashlight Tour:
Even if you've been to Natural Bridge Caverns before, chances are you haven't seen this!

The Jaremy Room is a stunning 120' deep chamber. Discovered in 1967 while drilling exploratory shafts, this room was not open to the public until July of 2002. Flashlights are given to the guests and tours are kept small.

Known for its long soda straws and delicate formations, the Jaremy Room is one of our most highly decorated rooms.

WatchTower Challenge:
This exciting new attraction is one of the largest public outdoor climbing tower and zip lines in Texas.

Named in honor of The Watchtower formation in the North Cavern, this attraction stands 40' tall. It features two climbing surfaces with multiple routes, offering a variety of challenges for beginners and experts alike.

At the top, overlooking the rolling Texas Hill Country landscape, there are two 350' zip lines that allow guests to ride from the top of the structure to the ground in seconds.

SNAKE FARM started in 1967 as a small roadside reptile house. We have evolved into an exotic animal park with a reptile house as a major part of the attraction, so if snakes and lizards aren't your favorite things just take a walk on out the back door to experience the other attractions the Snake Farm has to offer. Reptiles, birds, monkeys and longhorns are just a few of the amazing animals you can see when you visit us.

We house over 300 species including several that are endangered. We average over 500 animals on display and try to keep the new attractions opening as frequently as possible. Walk through two or three times, even in one visit, and we guarantee you will see things you didn't see before!

WWGAF, Inc., better known as Rockin 'R' River Rides has been doing business in New Braunfels for 25 years now. Two guys who had a dream back in 1979 made it come true and we all thank them from the bottom of our hearts. Of course, if it hadn't been for their wives bringing home the bacon . . . . . well, who knows?

Showing folks a good time in a piece of Texas heaven is what it's all about to these guys. Come experience what put a twinkle in their eyes all those years ago! By the way . . . . we know "toobin" is spelled with a "u" and not two "o"s but we pride ourselves in being creative!

Rockin 'R' River Rides, Texas' largest and most trusted river outfitter, is pleased to welcome you to its home page! We offer raftin', toobin', canoein', caterin' and campin' at five locations. We're the only river outfitter in New Braunfels with locations on both the Guadalupe and Comal rivers.

Rockin 'R' provides the ultimate experience for the first-time "toober" or seasoned rafter. Our facilities include three campgrounds on the banks of the Guadalupe River, four "toob" and raft rental locations, four retail stores for souvenirs, camping and boating supplies, an on-site riverfront grill, group packages, team building river ropes courses, plus water level information & advice on which trip will best suit your group on any given day.

We pride ourselves in being available and accommodating on a year-round basis. With a reservation and weather permitting you can rent equipment any day of the year except the big three - Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's! (I mean, come on, we have to have SOME holidays off!)

Dedicated to preserve the history of the settlement of New Braunfels by "The Society for the Protection of German Emigrants to Texas" in 1844-1847 and the subsequent development of this city and area of Texas. The Sophienburg Museum relates the history through the display of artifacts and displays of early life in New Braunfels. The Sophienburg Archives preserves the written history of the area through thousands of collections of personal and public documents.

Visit the Sophienburg Museum and take a delightful trip back to the mid 1800's when New Braunfels was founded by Prince Carl of Solms Braunfels. Hundreds of artifacts and exhibits help transport the visitor to a much different time when hardships dealt with nature and overcoming the elements.

View the boyhood home of Prince Carl of Solms Braunfels through the magical reproduction of the castle and village created by famous Texas artist Jonas Perkins. Hear the story of the founding of New Braunfels from one of the volunteer docents while viewing artifacts depicting the events surrounding it.

Visit Naegelins Bakery, an orphanage, the pharmacy, a general store, a doctors office, a shoemaker, a master cabinet maker, a barbershop, a saloon and much more, all in a short stroll through memory lane at the Sophienburg Museum.

Exhibits change frequently to depict seasonal cultural traditions and to maintain freshness for the repeat visitor. We look forward to your visit!
